Invo Fulfilment has expanded its Palletforce delivery area as part of its strategic plan to grow its northern network along the well-established Midlands operation. The firm will now be supporting businesses across Oldham, Rochdale, Heywood and the surrounding area through its Hyde depot in Greater Manchester. Invo Fulfilment has invested significantly to support the move, hiring additional drivers and purchasing new vehicles to meet increased demand. The Palletforce-Invo Fulfilment expanded partnership will increase express distribution capacity and next-day delivery efficiency across the region.
Invo Fulfilment expands its Palletforce service to the Oldham area
The firm will be covering the OL1-2 and OL10-16 areas on behalf of Palletforce, a move that makes strategic sense for the business, as Invo Fulfilment’s Operations Director, Oliver Lancaster, explains, “Securing selected OL postcodes as part of our regional expansion represents a pivotal step in the growth strategy for our northern network. By heavily investing in a modern fleet and recruiting the best local driving and operational talent, we’re significantly enhancing our service capabilities.”
It also brings efficiencies to the business, creating a seamless logistics corridor that connects the North West and major northern trading zones directly to the Midlands network, through Palletforce’s hub at Burton. Being a Palletforce provider in both the Midlands and Greater Manchester regions gives the firm a real operational edge, as Oli continues,
“We appreciate the benefits of the pallet network, in terms of giving us that national reach and technological backing to provide an uncompromised, sustainable next-day service for our growing 3PL client base.”
The announcement comes at a time of high demand for Invo Fulfilment’s trusted third-party logistics service, particularly across the ambient food sector, where the company holds a coveted BRCGS AA accreditation for storage and distribution.
Harnessing Palletforce’s industry-leading technology to benefit businesses in the North West
This localised expansion marks a major milestone in Invo Fulfilment’s alignment with the Palletforce network, allowing the logistics group to utilise Palletforce’s industry-leading technology, including live tracking and real-time electronic proof of delivery (ePOD), to benefit B2B clients across the North West as well as the Midlands.
David Breeze, Palletforce Chief Operating Officer, added:
“We are pleased to support Palletforce member Invo Fulfilment in delivering its growth ambitions and in creating additional network capacity to service businesses and target continued growth in the OL postcode area. We welcome its continued investment and look forward to working together to provide best-in-class express distribution services to its customer base.”
